My Healing was shaped through both professional study and lived experience.
Long before it had a name, I was learning about survival, adaptation, and the ways people learn to protect themselves when safety, truth, or emotional security are inconsistent.
My early life taught me about silence, vigilance, and self-reliance. As I moved through adulthood -becoming a partner, a mother, a caregiver, and a professional – I carried these patterns forward, often giving more than I had and losing sight of my own needs in the process.
Over time, experiences of betrayal, loss, and profound stress brought me to a breaking point. It became clear that survival alone was no longer enough. I needed to understand why certain patterns endured, and how genuine healing could take place at a deeper level.
From Survival to Understanding
That turning point led me into focused study of trauma, psychology, and integrative approaches to healing. I came to understand that betrayal trauma is unique – it disrupts trust, identity, and the nervous system in ways that are often misunderstood or minimised.
Through my training with the Post Betrayal Transformation® framework, developed by Debi Silber, I learned that healing unfolds in stages – from shock and survival, through grief and rebuilding, into integration and growth.
This framework continues to inform how I think about recovery: not as “moving on,” but as reclaiming clarity, self-trust, and agency.
An Integrated, Ethical Approach
My work brings together psychological understanding with gentle, trauma-aware methods. I am particularly interested in how betrayal, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm affect the nervous system, identity, and patterns of belief.
Alongside my academic study in the Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing, I draw on complementary approaches including the Emotion Code®, Body Code®, and Belief Code® developed by Bradley Nelson, as well as hypnotherapy- and EMDR-informed work — always within a paced, consent-led, and ethical framework.
My focus is not on quick fixes, but on supporting understanding, regulation, and gradual change that feels safe and sustainable.
The Intention Behind My Healing
This space is for people who have carried a great deal quietly — often appearing capable and resilient on the outside, while feeling exhausted or disconnected underneath.
My Healing is grounded in compassion, clarity, and respect for each individual’s pace. It is a place where reflection, learning, and gentle guidance come together — without pressure to perform healing or minimise pain.
Transformation, in my experience, is not about revenge, blame, or erasing the past. It is about reclaiming self-respect, understanding our patterns, and choosing a way forward that aligns with who we truly are.
